CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
It consists of co-curricular activities where students have a choice in both participation and assessment. It has two subparts to be assessed on a five point grading scale.
Part(A):
- Literary and Creative Skills
- Scientific Skills
- Information and Communication Technology
- Organisational and Leadership Skills (Clubs)
A student is expected to choose two activities from these four grades and will be assessed.
Part-(B): Health and Physical Activities
1. The school provides ample opportunities for students to take part in different co-curricular activities and thereby develop qualities of self confidence, self discipline, purposefulness, endurance, decision making etc. which all are needed for a full and fruitful life.
2. The school is grouped into four houses for the purpose of different activities and inter-house Championship Trophy is awarded to the house that scores highest number of points in the school year. Students are also given training in Music, Dance, Yoga, Karate, Drawing, Instrumental Music, Painting, Craft Work, Band, Abacus and other art forms.
3. Inter-house debates and quiz competitions, talent show, inter house games and athletic and cultural competitions are the regular features of the school year. Students are requested to participate in at least two items, as per the general instructions issued by the school authorities.
4. The school constitutes the following clubs. Each club will gather and conduct their own programmes separately and will conduct common programmes as per the time schedule.
